Antique air compressor powered by John Lauson gas hit and miss engine
Antique air compressor is a Milwaukee air power pump. The John Lauson is a 1.5 hp gas hit-and-miss engine. If anyone has information on the use of this air pump, please reply.

looks in nice condition, would be a fairly easy restore.
the balloons are an excellent way to get kids interested in old machinery!!!

Congratulations on your new purchase! You bought a very fine gas engine. As for finding information, I’d recommend searching the archives on Smokestak. I haven’t found any way of dating it yet. Good luck!

Thats a nice set up there Barn ! And thats a nice thing to do for the kids at the show.. I usualy bring a 1.5hercules to the show that doesnt have too awfuly much compression, and I let them try and start it, and I havent saw one that hasnt yet to start it ! They love it ! And kick starting maytags :p
