how loud is it?

It’s loud until it is full, then goes quiet. Then loud again to refill.
But not to loud not to use it for what I’m using it for (clean out computer cases).

does the air compressor automatically turn of when it gets to 100 psi?

Yes, then it will turn on when it lowers.
