Tyre repair demonstrations with ARB’s Roger Vickery

This is part 2 of my on-board air / welder build.

Onboard Air Delivery Systems can supply a constant flow which is not only great for tyre inflation and re-seating a tyre bead. But can run pneumatic (airbag) suspension, air lockers (regulate pressure to lockers to maintain 150psi in the tank for other uses), air tools, exhaust jacks and inflating equipment such as boats and inflatable tents. Onboard air is fantastic for use in both recreational and commercial environments. Bushranger Onboard Air systems are powered by Viair Compressors, all tanks are tested and meet Australian Standards

The bead on big floppy tubeless 4×4 tyres can often be reseated on the rim with just a low output compressor rather than go at it with easy-start explosions, straps or a whoosh from high PSI air lines etc. It can take a little time to ‘pop’ on but is simple and safe method. Tubed tyres can just be inflated to do same job long a tube is in correctly and not twisted or pinched.
