I would be assisting in the renovation of a village school, I need to equip myself with power tools such as impact drill, grinder, mini jack hammer, circular saw, jig saw, small concrete mixer, small electrode welding rig, small electric generator, pipe thread cutter, air compressor, pneumatic drill, etcetera etcetera. A wheel barrow as well. Phone number would be appreciated ? Looking forward to ~mhu being beaten to the answer.

I need a good air compressor, preferably for less than 100 dollars. I want to make a cannon that can shoot a potato at least 100 yards (tell me if this isn’t realistic, I know nothing about this kind of stuff) but I don’t want the compressor to blow up on me from shoddy quality. Also, while you’re at it, what kind of pipe do you think would be best to accomodate a good size baking potato?
All right, thanks guys. I’m thinking about getting metal pipe just to make sure it doesn’t blow up on me, it is stronger, right? I want to be as safe as possible, probs gonna wear a face shield and all just to make sure.

I fill my tires regularly with my air compressor in my garage, you know the one with the tank that never gets drained. So I was wondering, could the water vapor that accumulates in my tires every time I fill them freeze and cause them to be out of balance?

hi i have aproblem with my VW Golf just yesterday i inflated my flat tire with an air compressor using my cigarette lighter…. then when i was ready to go the car would not start, when i turned the key in the warnings lights on the dashboard lit up etc and one in particular was flashings the ‘car’ light. All i could hear was clicking as i turned the key in no noise from the engine at all and the digital milage display was not coming on.. (i have fuel, so its not that) any sugestions would be great…. : )
Thanks
yes the car was not on when i used the compressor. But i did not switch the car or drive it for about 2 weeks before that.
But i got my neighbour to jump start my car and its running now so its fine.
But i only took it round the block not a to get the battery used to working again so was that enough time to let the engine on or should i go and take it for a spin right now? lol

I had an ’87 Dodge Daytona that I bought a couple of years ago and to make a long, sad story short the top part of the engine was put back together wrong so it caught fire and died but I got to it in time with the hose so all of the parts (except for the engine of course) survived. I bought an ’89 Dodge Daytona recently and I was wondering what kind of parts would be useful to pull out of the old car since they are pretty much the same. I’m already taking the window louvers, tires, alternator, and air compressor out because they are things I know I’ll need. But I don’t know what else is handy to have that will save me a lot of money in the future when it goes out on my ’89.

Why are not all the greenies protesting this tool store for littering our country with useless junk? I tried to repair my jone year old air compressor (the awesome 30 day warranty expired) which was used about three times to fill tires and found out after calling them that they no longer parts for these but they’re still selling the compressors. Disposable tools, but the tree huggers are protesting
grocery bags and letting china ruin our country with this trash? Now I must throw it in the landfill because it’s useless.

I’m just curious as to if anyone else has ever had this experience. This example is a little silly, but I actually used the solution that I came up for in my dream and hadn’t thought of it prior to that. I just thought it was interesting that while sleeping I developed a solution to one of my problems.
I have a large dune buggy/go kart that has a flat tire on it. I also had a party a couple of months ago and someone stole my air compressor. I had been trying to figure out how I was going to fill the tire without either buying a new air compressor or taking the wheels off to fill the tire someplace else. Well, last night in a dream, I had a couple of friends over to my house and we were tooling around with the go kart when someone suggested that I put fix a flat in the tire and it should fill it up enough to get it to the gas station to refill the tire with their air compressor.
I woke up and did this… I just can’t believe I hadn’t thought of it before!
Silly example, but one that got me thinking a bit. Have you ever had an experience like this before?

I have been refinishing furniture for a while now and want to start using a spray gun. I have a air compressor already for my other tools. I want to know the best option for what I am doing. I want it to flow evenly and have the option for different containers for different colors as I use a lot of them and want to just change to the red one instead of deep cleaning everything? Any options? Looking for a specific brand that you have used and why you like it.
