i was playing around with an air compressor, the part you use to fill up an automobile tire and i pushed my thumb on it, my father told me to stop because i could get air bubbles in my blood stream. i was doing it for about a good 2 minutes.. then i did i did it again. could it harm me now ??, this was about 5 hours ago. he said the air bubbles could go to your heart or brain and cause death.

i have a craftsman 3 horsepower, 12 gallon oilless compressor. it builds pressure and then turns off automatically where is leaks air from a small valve that looks like a bike or automobile tire valve. i replaced this valve and it still leaks. anyway, after building pressure it turns off and after losing air it tries to kick back on but it cant. almost as if the piston is siezed. but it is not. i have to unplug it to avoid problems bc it dims the crap out of the power in the garage and i dont want to burn out the motor
